Vice President for Transformation & Organizational Effectiveness assigned to Battle Creek, MI (headquarters)/Hybrid option

Responsible for business process reengineering, quality improvement and organizational performance initiatives at the foundation. Engage foundation staff organization-wide in the strategic development and ongoing management of new quality and process improvement programs and protocols. Provide leadership for change management, concierge services and grants and contracts functions. In addition, lead a programmatic team responsible for racial equity/community engagement and strong sector grantmaking.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or other field relevant to assigned responsibilities is required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years work experience or equivalent in fields relevant to assigned responsibilities.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience or equivalent managing and leading teams.
  • Distinguished in fields related to organizational effectiveness and process improvement.
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives (lean/six sigma or other).
  • Bilingual desirable, particularly Spanish.
  • Experience in the philanthropic sector strongly desired.
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives (lean/six sigma or other).
  • Successful experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team and working effectively with persons from diverse cultural, social and ethnic backgrounds.
