The Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) issued its first comprehensive report, tracking the progress made by its partners between May 2010 and December 2012 in helping to reverse childhood obesity and improve children’s health.
As a founding organization, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) applauds PHA for engaging the private sector, and the nearly 50 businesses and organizations – from Fortune 500 companies to small entrepreneurial enterprises – that have committed to measurable actions.
We are pleased to learn of progress in supporting breastfeeding, making healthy food available to early childhood programs and expanding fresh food options in underserved communities.
