The W.K. Kellogg Foundation joins, with other philanthropic leaders, the Philanthropy’s Promise initiative.
Philanthropy’s Promise celebrates foundations that intentionally target the bulk of their grant dollars to benefit marginalized communities and invest substantially in civic engagement strategies to address the root causes of social problems. It is a voluntary initiative coordinated by the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy (NCRP) as a way to celebrate NCRP’s 35th Anniversary.
The W.K. Kellogg Foundation applauds the efforts of NCRP and its leadership to encourage effective, philanthropic practice to commit to benefiting underserved populations and to invest in systemic change.
