Food & Society Policy Fellow wins Peabody Award

King Corn produced by Food and Society Policy Fellow Curt Ellis has won the 2008 Peabody Award for broadcast journalism. Mr. Ellis co-created and appeared in the Mosaic Films feature documentary King Corn, which was released theatrically in 2007 and was broadcast nationally on PBS in 2008. The prestigious award will be presented at a New York awards ceremony on May 18, 2009.

The Food & Society Policy Fellows program was jointly launched in 2001 by the Jefferson Institute and the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy (IATP), with funding from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
