Center for Rural Affairs urges Bush to veto Farm Bill

Despite overwhelming approval for the new Farm Bill, the Center for Rural Affairs is concerned, stating, “This farm bill commits the federal government to subsidizing the destruction of family farming for another five years and it invests little in the future of rural communities.” Center for Rural Affairs is encouraging President Bush to veto the bill.
