2008 Community Voices’ Freedom’s Voice Conference & Soledad O’Brien Gala

Community Voices: HealthCare for the Underserved at the Morehouse School of Medicine will host an unprecedented assembly of the nation’s academic, political, and advocacy leaders on health care, health care disparities, civil rights, and successful prisoner re-entry at the 2008 Community Voices’ Freedom’s Voice Conference to be held in Atlanta, April 9-11. The three-day conference will conclude with special recognition on April 11th for CNN anchor and special correspondent Soledad O’Brien. O’Brien is renowned for her determination to cover stories that might otherwise go untold and her efforts to be a voice for those in our society who are unable to speak for themselves. She will be honored with the first annual Soledad O’Brien Freedom’s Voice Award.
