Publication: Langhum Mitchell Communications

DENVER — Several KLCC fellows from the Mi Casa Women’s Resource Center participated in the immigration rallies held here in recent weeks. The Denver rallies were among dozens of similar demonstrations that took place around the country in April and early May making history as the largest civil rights rallies of their kind since the Civil Rights movement of the 20th century. Demonstrators are seeking comprehensive immigration reform as well as amnesty for long-term undocumented U.S. residents. Rafael Arvizu Derr, Armando Somoza, Jazmin Chavez and Melina Somoza will share their demonstration experiences with KLCC Bridge readers in the June edition. Included here are some photos they took during the rallies.
