Rural Entrepreneur Telecast Features Kellogg Foundation Grantees

The telecast features keys to successful rural entrepreneurship, owners of two rural businesses who share their experiences, and a collaborative assisting and encouraging rural entrepreneurs in Nebraska. Among the telecast’s guest panelists are Rick Foster, W.K. Kellogg Foundation Vice President for Programs, Food Systems, Rural Development, and Leadership; and Bill Glasscock, owner/manager of Laurel Creek Hardwood, Inc., of Richwood, West Virginia. Glasscock’s business received assistance from the Conservation Fund’s Natural Capital Investment Fund, Inc., a Kellogg Foundation grantee. The telecast also featured the work of Kellogg Foundation 75th Anniversary Entrepreneurship Development project grantee, HomeTown Competitiveness, based in Lincoln, Nebraska. The telecast is part of the Economic Development Administration’s Economic Development Today series coordinated by the National Association of Regional Councils.
