Farmers Can Now Assess Their Environmental Impact

Online quiz helps producers determine environmental costs
 
An online quiz has been developed to help producers assess the impact their operations have on the environment. Betsy Gilkerson, of the University of Minnesota Extension Service says the quiz is an overview of common operational issues that affect the eco-system. “I thought it would just be nice to have a quiz,” says Gilkerson. “I wanted something kind of friendly and easy to read, for producers to look and see what they can personally do.” Producers can take the quiz at the Minnesota extension service’s website.
