Sterling Speirn Assumes Presidency of Kellogg Foundation

Sterling Speirn took over as president of the W. K. Kellogg Foundation on January 2, replacing William C. Richardson.  Until the end of 2005, he held the same position at the Peninsula Community Foundation — a Silicon Valley philanthropic institution and one of the largest foundations in the Bay Area of California, on the west coast of the United States.

He has spent many years working on the needs youth and building the philantropic sector.  On the same day, Cynthia Hardin Milligan assumed the chair of the Kellogg Foundation Board of Trustees, replacing Hanmin Liu.
