Project Director Receives Top Public Health Award

Bruce Bragg, Project Director of the Ingham County Community Voices received the highest individual award granted by Michigan public health leaders during the state’s Premier Public Health Conference in October 2005. Bragg, who has been director of the Ingham County Health Department since 1977, accepted the Roy R. Manty Distinguished Service Award for his efforts to improve local public health, which includes involving local community members and developing plans to care for the uninsured.
