Advantage Valley is the recipient of a $2 million W.K. Kellogg Foundation grant for the Advantage Valley Entrepreneurship Development System Collaborative. The grant will promote entrepreneurial activity in the eleven-county Advantage Valley region, including Cabell, Wayne and Putnam counties and produce entrepreneurial models for other communities. A study commissioned by Advantage Valley several years revealed that the rest of the country has twice the number of start-up companies as experienced in this region. Business owners and entrepreneurs interested in participating in the project can contact Advantage Valley, Inc. at (304) 760-0950, or info@advantagevalley.com.
