Book Features Strategies for Supporting Rural Entrepreneurs

Five key strategies for supporting rural entrepreneurs are elaborated in the book, “Strategies for Sustainable Entrepreneurship.” The book was prepared by the Central Appalachian Network. It includes stories of individual entrepreneurs as examples of each strategy, and notes that communities, regions, states and the federal government can foster entrepreneurship by adopting favorable policies. The book lists policy recommendations informed by its research. For more on CAN and its rural policy projects visit (http://www.cannetwork.org/project/rural_policy.php).
