North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center hosts workshops

The North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center will host a series of three regional entrepreneurship workshops to help Graham and surrounding southwestern counties in North Carolina learn to build a system for growing, nurturing and sustaining entrepreneurs who create jobs in the region.

The first workshop will be held in Graham County on October 28 at the Stecoah Valley Center. Two other workshops are scheduled in Hertford and Robeson counties this fall.

The workshops will provide a unique opportunity for local leaders, economic and community development professionals, business service providers and educators to learn how to grow jobs and strengthen their local economies by creating entrepreneur-friendly communities and will also provide an opportunity for participants to hear from successful entrepreneurs in the region.

For more information or to register for the rural entrepreneurship workshops, contact Michelle Hall, N.C. Rural Center at (919) 250-4314, or mhall@ncruralcenter.org.
