Michigan Integrated Food and Farming Systems (MIFFS) Executive Director, Tom Guthrie, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2005. The MIFFS 2005 Michigan Family Farms Conference, February 25 and 26, 2005 is dedicated to Tom, as a living memorial to his vision and commitment to sustainable farming and food systems and his love for the people he worked with in this mission.
Funeral arrangements are through the Williams-Gores Funeral Home, 133 E. Orchard Street, Delton, MI. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday February 24, 2005 with a Scripture service at 7:00 p.m. The phone number is 269-623-5461.
The funeral mass is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2005 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 12648 East D Avenue, Augusta, Michigan. The phone number is 269-731-4721.
