Exploding Myths, Finding Solutions to the World’s Health Care Crisis

In March 2002, nearly 70 health care professionals from around the globe gathered in Salzburg, Austria to look carefully at the critical state of health care services for the poor worldwide. The charge of Salzburg Seminar #395 was to address the critical state of human health worldwide, and review models for improvement. The new publication, Exploding Myths, Finding Solutions to the World’s Health Care Crisis details the presentations and the work of the fellows, which clearly moved the participants beyond the dialogue toward equitable, consumer-centered approaches to health services.
