Publication: SUNY Cobleskill

Chef Ann Cooper received an honorary doctorate from the State University of New York Cobleskill on Friday December 17, 2004 for her contributions to the interrelated fields of agriculture, foods, nutrition, business and the arts and sciences.  As a certified executive chef, author, and healthy school lunch advocate, Cooper’s work in the culinary field focuses on child nutrition and sustainable agriculture. Her commitment to instrumenting change in the face of childhood obesity and an unhealthy, commodities-based national school lunch program is complementary to the SUNY Cobleskill educational mission as a state agriculture college.
