An October 20, 2004 Duluth News-Tribune article, “Crop residues cloud ‘organic’ label for meat, vegetables” by Marilyn Marter discusses if organic is truly better, especially considering that some crops have been found to contain pesticide residue, even two years after the USDA’s organic standards were put into place.
