Helping Small Towns II Conference Set

The Helping Small Towns II – Tools for Community Survival conference will take place Oct. 14-18, at the Snow King Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Register by Sept. 13 and receive a $100 discount.

The Heartland Center for Leadership Development revamps its most popular and longest running community development training program. New topics include Appreciative Inquiry, Advanced Facilitation Skills, Strengthening Social Capital, Diversity as Opportunity, Tools for Attracting Young People and Measuring for Success.

Since 1992, Helping Small Towns Survive and Succeed has provided hundreds of practitioners and volunteers with the basic skills to tackle the tough work of community building.  Now, the Heartland Center has developed a new set of tools to take community building practices to the next level.
