Kellogg Foundation Attends Iberian-American Meeting of the Third Sector

The 7th Iberian-American Meeting of the Third Sector, one of the world’s largest events in this field, took place in São Paulo from May 16-19 in São Paulo, Brazil. The central theme for this year’s meeting was “Citizenship and its Multiple Dimensions”.

Nearly 1,000 people from 19 countries attended the meeting, including leaders and specialists from corporate foundations and NGOs, businessmen, government representatives and journalists. The Kellogg Foundation awarded 110 grants for representatives of Latin American NGOs to attend in the event.

Participating in one of the debate panels, which discussed the topic “Equity and Social Capital – An eye on the assets of communities”, was the Alliance with Adolescents project, a Kellogg Foundation grantee from northeastern Brazil that was presented as an example of a successful program.
