Turning Point Examines Emergency Preparedness in Public Health

(April 2004) Representatives from five local Turning Point partnerships participated in a forum in November 2003 to explore, characterize, document, and share their experience and extent of involvement in public health preparedness efforts on and after September 11. The National Association of County and City Health Officials has released the findings of this forum in a report called “Examining Collaborative Public Health Practice and Emergency Preparedness – CAN IT WORK?”
