IADB Recognizes Brazilian ONG

The Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) selected 40 youth entrepreneurship projects from Latin America and the Caribbean to participate in the Youth Program that took place in March this year during the Annual Meeting of the IADB Board of Governors in Lima, Peru. The Social Development Academy Institute, a Kellogg Foundation grantee in Recife (Pernambuco), was selected by the IADB from among 600 entries. The project, which aims to channel the energy of youth toward political and social issues, received an honorable mention at the event. The meeting also enabled participants to set up a network for sharing experiences.
