CDI Wins Award in United States

The Committee for Democratization of Information Technology (CDI) received the World Technology Award for Social Entrepreneurship on June 25, 2003, in San Francisco. The award is granted annually by the World Technology Network for projects whose technology has contributed the most to social and economic development.


The CDI, present in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, and Uruguay, competed for the award with 17 other initiatives in its category.
