Leadership for a Changing World Award Winners Announced

In 2003, 17 individuals and teams won Leadership for a Changing World awards, which honor those who are making a difference in their communities by tackling tough social problems. Leadership for a Changing World is a national awards and research program of the Ford Foundation in partnership with the Advocacy Institute and the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University. The program seeks public recognition that leadership comes in many forms and from many different communities. The 2003 award winners will each receive $100,000 to advance their work and an additional $15,000 for supporting activities. They will meet regularly over the next two years to discuss their work and experiences as leaders. For more about the program, visit www.leadershipforchange.org.
