“Take Me Home, Country Roads” recently was published in Public Roads, a U.S. Dept. of Transportation publication that focuses on federal highways, policies, and programs. The article discusses rural transportation planning, and describes the new Rural Capacity Building Initative program. This program will bring together a diverse group of rural transportation stakeholders to engage in the planning process, thereby building planning capacity in rural communities.
