Vice President of Strategy assigned to Battle Creek, MI (headquarters)/Hybrid option
The Vice President of Strategy is responsible for creative and strategic program leadership, impact and ends achievement. Leadership oversight and aligning to the strategic framework resulting in positive systemic change are key responsibilities. Serves as the liaison between the foundation and our priorities places in Mexico and Haiti and leads global initiatives (Racial Equity 2030, Baoba Fund and Earth University).
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or other field relevant to assigned area is required; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years work experience or equivalent in fields relevant to assigned responsibilities.
- Minimum of 5 years’ work experience or equivalent managing and leading teams.
- Bilingual desirable, particularly Spanish and/or Haitian Creole.
- Experience in the philanthropic sector strongly preferred.
- Successful experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team and working effectively with persons from diverse cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds.
