Gordon Fowler appointed to Board of Trustees

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) announced the appointment of Gordon Fowler to its board of trustees, beginning his term this month. Fowler brings more than four decades of experience in global wealth and investment management, including deep expertise in institutional investing and sustainable investment strategies.

“Gordon brings a strong track record of building and leading investment platforms that serve both families and institutions,” said Dr. Khan Nedd, chief governance officer of the board of trustees. “His experience in endowment and foundation investing, along with his focus on long-term, mission-aligned strategies, will strengthen our ability to steward the foundation’s endowment in support of children, families and communities.”

Fowler most recently served as president of Glenmede Corporation and CEO of Glenmede Trust Company, where he led the firm’s growth into a nationally recognized firm providing investment management and advisory services to families, endowments and foundations. During his tenure, he established Glenmede Investment Management, expanded the firm’s institutional investment capabilities and advanced its sustainable and impact investing strategies. Earlier in his career, Fowler served as chief investment officer for J.P. Morgan’s private bank.

He currently serves on several corporate and nonprofit boards, including Princeton Theological Seminary, the Curtis Institute of Music and The Jeffrey Company, and has held leadership roles on investment committees across multiple organizations.

“In addition to his financial acumen, Gordon has demonstrated a deep commitment to strengthening communities and expanding opportunity for children and families through his civic and philanthropic leadership,” said La June Montgomery Tabron, president and CEO of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. “His experience and values align strongly with our mission and will help guide our work in the years ahead.”Fowler will serve on the board’s Investment Committee, helping guide the stewardship of the foundation’s endowment in alignment with its mission.
