Announcing the newest class of Community Leadership Network fellows

We are thrilled to announce Class Four of the WKKF Community Leadership Network fellowship with the Center for Creative Leadership. This class draws together 80 inspiring leaders working toward a future where every child and family has the greatest opportunities for success. This class of fellows couldn’t come at a better time.

“Since the days of Mr. Kellogg, we’ve stood by the belief that communities can thrive when everyday people share an active commitment to the health, happiness and wellbeing of all children,” said Reggie LaGrand, WKKF’s director of leadership programs. “Now is a critical moment for community-rooted leaders to strengthen their skills in bringing people together and nurturing unified vision, collaboration and innovation.”

That’s why WKKF and CCL designed the 18-month fellowship: to equip local leaders with the skills, knowledge and connections they need to navigate today’s challenges.

“We are honored to partner with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to develop leaders who understand that creating conditions for children to thrive requires collaborative community approaches,” said Martin Schneider, CCL president and CEO. “This fellowship provides leaders with the resources and connections to navigate differences and bring people together.”

Our newest class of fellows are based in local and Tribal communities across the United States, including in our priority places of Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico and New Orleans. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds and disciplines and include educators, farmers, entrepreneurs and philanthropists.

Over the next year and a half, the fellows will learn about themselves and each other; sharpen their leadership skills; gain practical experience; and build a strong network for driving change at the local, state and national levels, with children at the center.

Congratulations to Class Four of the WKKF Community Leadership Network!
