Our Concern for Health and Well-Being

As you know, the health and well-being of people – the children and the families we serve, as well as our staff, partners and grantees – is our primary concern. In response to the evolving COVID-19 situation, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation is asking all employees to work remotely. While we’ve had no reports of infected employees, we are responding to public health emergency guidance at this time and writing to share related information as soon as possible, including:

  • All Kellogg Foundation offices, including the Battle Creek, Michigan headquarters, will be closed for in-person business at the end of the workday on Monday, March 16, 2020.
  • Although offices will be closed, and we will not be engaged in face-to-face contact (such as meetings and site visits), business activities will continue without disruption. This includes making all planned payments and related operations. Fortunately, we are well-positioned with the tools, technology, channels, systems and practices to continue to work responsively and steadily during this time.
  • We recognize that your organization and community are also responding to this public health situation. Under the circumstances, we want to be responsive and flexible. Please contact us with questions or concerns.

As we work with grantees and partners during this time, we will keep you posted with any updates related to our shared work. As always, we are grateful for your service to children, families and communities.
