Our Funding Focus

Guided by community wisdom and analysis of data disaggregated by race, our investments address both systems (process) and services (outcomes), including:

• Dismantling the institutional and structural oppression causing disparities in access to the social determinants of health (systems).
• Creating more diversity in maternal and child health birth support professions (services) and sustainable funding for those roles (systems).
• Developing synergies between our maternal and child health and food efforts, focusing on the root causes of food insecurity to eliminate disparities (systems and services).
• Supporting cross-sector investments in the health, education and employment systems to promote racial equity and improve health equity (services).
