Governance and Compliance Specialist, based in Battle Creek, Mich.

Working as part of the Governance and Compliance core team, the governance and compliance specialist performs administrative work encompassing a broad range of responsibilities.


  • Associate degree and at least three years of administrative or management support experience preferred; or high school diploma or equivalent with at least five years of previously mentioned experience.
  • Foundation or nonprofit experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting compliance functions (legal, audit, etc.) preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with persons from diverse cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Agility in day-to-day work.
  • Highly developed customer service skills: proactive, attention to detail, responsive, results-oriented and resourceful.
