Our children are the world’s future, and they depend on families, communities and society at large to nurture and protect them, and to give them a platform for independence and success. But today, too many children grow up in a cycle of poverty that limits their access to adequate education, nutritious food, economic security and quality health care.
It’s essential that we stand up for these children and change the social dynamics that hold some of them back. We’re helping communities marshal their resources to assure that all children have an equitable and promising future.
As we direct our resources and energies toward educated kids, healthy kids, and secure families. We view this work through the dual lenses of racial equity and civic engagement.
