Overview

We are excited to meet in Asheville, North Carolina during May 22-24, 2012 for the 11th Food & Community Conference. Nearly 500 participants will be in attendance, representing Food & Community grantees, farmers, policymakers, advocates, academics, and more!

The landscape of those engaged in rebuilding healthy food systems and built environments is as diverse as our country itself. Each one of us has a place in the broader movement. In connecting and collaborating with one another, we will shine as a fully-realized picture – a more effective movement – capable of creating, driving, and attaining transformational change locally and nationally.

The 2012 Food & Community Convening is an invitation-only event that convenes leaders from diverse backgrounds and experience to build knowledge, increase capacity, inspire, and provide opportunities for networking and strategizing.
