Legacy Scholars, Class of 2012

In June, the first class of Legacy Scholars will cross the stages at Battle Creek Central High School and Lakeview High School graduations. These young men and women will not only be fulfilling their own dreams, but realizing the hopes of the Battle Creek community to create a college-going culture that makes education a priority and reality for its youth. In this video, seniors, educators and parents share how the Legacy Scholar scholarships have impacted their outlook on college.

Developed in 2005 through a $4 million endowment established by WKKF, the Legacy Scholars program offers eligible high school students a scholarship to Kellogg Community College (up to 62 credit-hour equivalent).
