Project Name:

Racial Equity Community Healing / Humanity Has No Nationality (HNCC) from ALO Cultural Foundation

Project Summary:

Humanity Has No Nationality (HHNN) strives to build and uplift the communities of Middle Eastern background while interconnecting with others. Committed to the improvement of communication through language and culture, the ALO Cultural Foundation will target a collective of communities with a high percentage of Middle Eastern residents grouped into disenfranchised categories. Reversing the shared beliefs that there is little hope to break out of the socio-economic cultures consistent in these areas, HNCC will work to crack these prejudices through regular programs wrapped in a media outreach plan.

HNCC will unite participating communities through a series of dialogues, training, learning experiences, assistance with key corporations in the communities, educational outlets and people-to-people interaction. Serving youth, young adults, and adults within the demographic – program participants will be engaged through a series of activities including: an interactive dialogue and play program for youth that explores diversity as a means to creating understanding and respect; the Power of Children Awards – an annual event intended to honor and further empower middle and high school students who have made a significant impact on the lives of others and exhibit a commitment to service and the betterment of society; blended Latino and Middle East Studies high school curriculums to enhance cultural awareness on individual and team levels; and HHNN consulting services in support of organizations seeking to employers of choice and/or preferred service providers to Middle Eastern communities.
