Detroit is one of five public school districts that will receive a W.K. Kellogg Foundation Woodrow Wilson Michigan Teaching Fellowship - preparing teachers in a two-year program beginning in 2011. President Barack Obama highlighted the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Woodrow Wilson Michigan Teaching Fellowship on Wednesday, January 6th as a model effort to inspire students to excel in math and science.
