Collective Impact: Knocking Down Walls

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation held its “Michigan Communities in Action Annual Convening” in Detroit on Oct. 2-3, 2012. In addition to networking and exchanging new ideas to improve the lives of Michigan’s most vulnerable children, the more than 300 Michigan grantees, staff and consultants at the two-day event were treated to a special interactive presentation titled, “Collective Impact: Knocking Down Walls,” performed by Kirk Latimer and Gabriel Giron of the spoken word duo Kinetic Affect and multi-media artist Sioux Trujillo.
