What is Food, Health, and Wellbeing, and how does it relate to Food & Community?
Answer:
Food & Community is a signature program of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Food, Health & Well-Being work. Food, Health & Well-Being Is a core area of focus within the foundation. Other areas include Education and Learning, Family Economic Security, Racial Equity and Civic Engagement. The Kellogg Foundation seeks to integrate these key focus areas in many efforts to work toward the goal of healthy kids, educated kids and secure families.
Food, Health & Well-Being addresses conditions in communities that impact the health and quality of life for children, with a focus on first food, early food, school food and community food. Food & Community focuses on school food and community food in the Food, Health & Well-Being spectrum.
