Biography:
Beneta Burt is executive director of the Mississippi Roadmap to Health Equity, which aims to achieve healthy equity in Mississippi by advocating for changes within the community institutions that influence people’s everyday lives. She is the former president of the Jackson Urban League, a former governor's liaison to the Department of Labor, and former deputy director of the Department of Human and Cultural Services in Mississippi.
