Biography:
Aimee Witteman is a program officer with the McKnight Foundation. She comes to the McKnight Foundation with a breadth of experience in the environment field, with particular expertise in federal environmental policy, advocacy, coalition-building, and efforts to build the capacity of community- and state-based organizations. From January 2009 until May 2010, Witteman served as executive director of the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition in Washington D.C., where she also served as director of organizing and outreach for two years. Previously, she held positions at Oxfam America and the Northwest Service Academy and was a W.K. Kellogg Foundation Food and Society Policy Fellow from January 2007 until December 2008.
