In the 10 years since Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, the city has emerged stronger and tougher, earning the reputation of “The City of Resiliency.” But behind the rebuilt schools and new homes are extraordinary people. These everyday leaders, at times, forsake their own needs to answer their neighbors’ needs. They came together in unconventional ways to rebuild businesses, schools, neighborhoods and the economy.
